Sunday Happiness
Outfit Details: Skirt- Nordstrom Rack Sweater- Forever 21 Blouse- Nordstrom Rack Hat- Forever 21 Heels- Forever Young Lips- Covergirl Lip Perfection lip stain in plum
This was today's church outfit (minus the hat!). I sort of just threw it together this morning in a rush, but I really like how it turned out. I feel like that is how it goes a lot of the time. For me at least. I try on a few different outfits−most of the time they are outfits I have already planned out in my head. But it takes a few different tries for me to be satisfied. I usually end up deciding on the outfit that was NOT what I planned, and is something different that I've never worn before. I love that moment when it all comes together though. And you just KNOW that it's perfect. You can feel it! That is happiness for me. Haha:) Amongst many other things in life, of course. But I'm tellin ya. Clothes make me happy! I hope I'm not the only one.....
I also wanted to talk about this lip stain! I love lip stain to start with. It has a similar effect as lipstick. I like it better than lipstick though, because it feels lighter and stays on longer. This plum color has been a favorite of mine the past couple of months. It is interesting and unique but not too "out there" or too attention-drawing.

Holiday Spirit
Outfit Details: Coat- Forever 21 Dress- Target Turtleneck- Nordstrom Rack Earrings- Nordstrom Rack Heels- Target
Leather bow gloves- Target
Merry Christmas everyone! Wow I haven't put a post up in quite awhile! This month has flown by. I love this holiday season. While it is indeed crazy and hectic, I love the spirit in the air, the traditions, spending time with loved ones, finding the perfect gifts, and of course, the fun fashion. The holiday season is always a great time to add a little extra to your outfits! Whether it be extra sparkle, a little fur, or maybe some animal print, the holidays are the perfect time to spice up your look and totally get away with it!
I was so excited when I spotted these cheetah heels online. I have been looking for a pair for quite some time, and could never find quite the right ones. They were either to expensive, or too loud ( which with cheetah heels, I think it is best to keep it simple since they are already quite the statement). So when I found these J Crew look a likes on Target for just $25, I HAD to get them! I am glad I did. They are beeaauuttiffuuulll. They make a plain outfit fun. I just love them. As you can see with this outfit. The dress and turtleneck are alright by themselves. But once you add the cheetah heels and some red lipstick, you have a great holiday-ready look.
I hope you have a great Christmas! Thanks for reading. (If anyone in the entire wide world is actually looking at this. haha. )

Casual/Statement
Outfit Details: Skirt- Jc Penny Shirt- American Eagle Hat- Macy's Shoes- Forever Young Watch- Target
Hey everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Today's outfit was so fun and so comfy! You can never go wrong with a great maxi skirt and a chambray button up. Throw on a hat or some lipstick (or both!) to add a statement to your look. This is a great way to turn a casual, comfy outfit into something a little more.

Lovely Leather
Outfit Details: Leggings, sweater, and necklace- Forever 21 Shoes- Forever Young
If you haven't noticed yet, leather is quite the hot item this season! I have continually seen my favorite fashion bloggers style leather into their looks. I couldn't decide if I should jump on the band wagon or not. Well let me tell you, I am glad I did! I love the leggings and I love the outfit. It is very versatile. I wore this outfit on a date last week and it worked great! I transitioned it to more of a date look by adding heels instead of flats and curling my hair. This outfit offers a great mix of styles. This oversized sweater is heaven! I am trying not to wear it everyday. It is so comfy, flattering, and goes great with so many things! The "leather" leggings bring a sense of edge and chic-ness. Pairing these with any sweater (or anything really) just gives your outfit that something extra. I also like how these particular leggings are leather on the front but not on the back. It makes them super comfy and not too overwhelming. As for the shoes.... I love loafers and I love sparkle, so they are perfect for me! I have a feeling I will be wearing them often this holiday season.
This look is very affordable. I really want to prove that you can look great without having to buy those insanely expensive clothes! Of course these leggings aren't real leather. And maybe one day it would be cool to add a little bit of higher quality clothes into my wardrobe. But for those of us who have limited budgets, let's stick together and help each other look amazing, regardless of the price tags.

Hats and heels
Outfit details: Dress- Target Sweater- Forever 21 Hat- Forever 21 Heels- Forever Young. Earrings- Nordstrom
I love feminine details like hats and heels! It almost makes me feel like I am going to a tea party when I wear them. This 1920's- inspired cloche hat has been such a fun accessory! I love the vintage vibe it brings to any outfit. Go get yourself a fun hat if you haven't yet!

Black to Basics
Outfit Details : Jacket: Target Jeans: American Eagle Boots: Famous Footwear Turtleneck: JC Penny Purse: Target
There is something about dressing in all black that I just love! It's.... fun. Haha it makes me feel like a secret agent or something. In all seriousness, I really do love this outfit. Can I just say how much I love Target? It never fails me. I had been wanting a leather/ tweed jacket for awhile, when I spotted this beauty at Target! It was love at first sight. I think that black creates an effortlessly chic look, especially pairing black on black. It's a favorite trend of mine, especially during the colder months.

Fall Floral
Outfit Details: Skirt and sweater- Forever 21 Shoes- Forever Young Coat- Target
It sure is chilly today! We woke up to snow this morning, but luckily it has all melted away. Don't get me wrong, I do like the snow at first. But I just love my favorite season, fall. We have had the best fall this year, I must say. I am not ready to see it go! I don't think it should be allowed to snow until December 1st. Aaannnd the then it needs to stop by January 1st. Do we have a deal, mother nature?
I enjoyed putting this outfit together. This floral skirt was a favorite piece in my wardrobe this past summer. Obviously floral is such a perfect print for the summer time. However, I was eager to find pieces that I could pair the skirt with that would work for more of a winter look. I am pretty happy with the outcome!
Here's to November, and wishful hoping that autumn sticks around just a little longer....

It's All In the Lips
Outfit Details: Skirt-Nordstrom Rack Sweater-Forever 21 Boots-Forever Young
Today's look was inspired by my absolute favorite fashion blogger, Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies. I just adore her blog. I've been a faithful follower for the past two years! Her style is impeccable and her blog is constantly giving me inspiration and ideas. My favorite thing about Rachel's blog is that she wears classy, sophisticated, and modest clothing! You simply can't beat that. It's not always easy to put together cute outfits that maintain that modest standard, so I love getting ideas from how she does it. As you can tell from this picture, she is just flawless! Haha I am hesitant to post this picture, because clearly she wore this look better. However, I do still think it is fun to recreate some of her outfits sometimes, but on a much cheaper scale. It makes me feel... accomplished.

Sisters and Autumn Leaves
Outfit Details:
Mine: Sweater-American Eagle Dress-H&M Tights-H&M Booties-Forever Young Jewelery-Forever21Kens: Sweater-Forever 21 Skirt- Levi Strauss & Co Tights-H&M Boots-DSW Jewelery-Forever 21
Today was magical! My sis and I decided to get dressed up and head to Gardner Village with some friends. We had a blast taking pictures and walking around, enjoying the fun atmosphere. While driving back home, we spotted this beautiful pile of leaves. We just had to immediately pull over and go play! It was such a blast.
Kens and I decided to pull our outfits together with our favorite fall color... bordeaux. I am loving my new little booties I just got. They are a little bit out of my normal style, but booties are so in right now so I decided to give them a try. I am glad I did! Don't be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone sometimes. By wearing things that you are comfortable with, and then adding something new and bold, it can really pay off.
