She Wears A White Dress

Outfit Details
Dress : Gap
Flats : Target
Jewelry: Forever 21

I wore this dress back at the end of summer. There is something so appealing about wearing white! I always feel so angelic haha. White is obviously very pretty and fun to wear in the summer time.  I love the light airy look.  I paired the dress with some light mint pointy flats with soft touches of gold. I love how it all came together.  It is fun looking back (even though it was just a few months ago!) to those warm summer months. I look so tan! I miss it already. Summer flew by! It really did.

I have really missed blogging and find myself craving working on my blog. It is nice to have a hobby, something to put a little creative energy into.  So I am really hoping to start posting more often. I think one reason why I didn't really blog in the summer was that there aren't as many cute outfits to put together! With it being so hot, you sort of have to wear the bare minimum, you can't really focus on any extra cute touches without sweating your butt off!  I love fall time and all the cute things you can wear. It makes things much more interesting. Layers, sweaters, coats, tights, boots, jeans. I love it all!

Back to the "white dress" ... I am really hoping to find some ways to wear this in the colder months! I don't know if you knew this already, but if not, I will tell you. Throw all the rules you ever knew out the window! Forget the "no white after labor day."  Pair brown with black. It might take a little bit of thought, but you can totally pull these "no-nos" off! I'm thinking this dress could look cute in the fall with some wine colored tights, maybe add a fur vest?  Or perhaps pair this dress with some brown riding boots for an equestrian inspired look! Another way to make white work in the winter would be to add black. Black and white is such a classic look, and it could totally work with this dress! There you have it. I want to see you all wearing white this fall/ winter!

New Kicks

Outfit Details: V neck- Target     Jeans- American Eagle   Converse- Journeys

I love these shoes! They are such classics. Sometimes there is nothing better than a simple, clean look, such as jeans and a tee.  I love the fresh white look these days. Perfect for summer!
Have I ever  said how much I love shoes? I love how shoes will look good no matter what.  Doesn't matter if you feel fat that day, or if you think your outfit is ugly.  Throw on a great pair of shoes and it can make all the difference! Higher quality shoes help achieve this even more so.  I've noticed that the nicer shoes that I own have a way of bringing my outfit up a notch or two.  This outfit is a perfect example! Very basic, simple jeans and a tee. The Converse are just a great finishing touch. They seem to make it look.... nicer. I am not the type to really ever "splurge" on things, other than shoes occasionally, which I think it is totally worth it!

Monochromatic

Outfit Details: Blouse - Urban Wear  Skirt, Heels, and Bag - Target  Jewelry - F21

Sometimes, you just need a monochromatic look, you know?  Ha, I actually wore this outfit the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day! Therefor everyone thought I was just getting in the Green Spirit! I suppose that is partially true, but I honestly just liked the idea of wearing a separate skirt and shirt in the exact same shade!  I don't have many pieces that I can do this with, but I definitely want to try this concept again sometime, because there is something oddly fun about it.

Pull It Off

Outfit Details : Long cardigan - Tillys  V neck - Target  Jeans - American Eagle Cheetah flats - Target

I had always wanted one of these cool, long cardigans! They are seriously so much fun. However, I would always think to myself, "I don't think I can pull that off." How often do all of us do that?  Maybe I am wrong, but I don't believe in the notion! Okay, okay, maybe that is a bit extreme.  We all have our personal taste and style and it really is great to stick to that.  But girl, give yourself a little more credit!  If you like something, wear it.  Own it. Work it.  And you will look amazing!  Too often, I get compliments on some of the different items that I wear, followed with a "I wish I could pull that off!" I love the nice compliment, but it always leaves me unsettled.  Because I am sure that that person COULD pull off whatever I was wearing. I know not everything will look amazing on every body.  But at the same time, sometimes I truly think that it is all in your attitude.  "Fake it till you make it," right?! Try something new, something you "can't pull off" but pretend like you can.  AND WATCH YOURSELF TOTALLY PULL IT OFF!!!

I'm baaaack

Hello, blogging world! It's been awhile, hasn't it?  Well, I am very happy to be back!  I am excited to announce my new blog name! My previous blog name, Manda Hun, just wasn't cutting it for me. I just never really loved it.  After much deliberation and hard thinking (6 months worth, actually), I have finally found  a name that I am happier with! Drum roll please..................

Seamlessly Sweet

I love this name! It just rolls off the tongue, don't you think? I love the little clothing tie-in with the "seam" reference! I also think that this name is a pretty good reflection on my personality and style.  If I had to, I would probably describe my style as "sweet" "feminine" and "classic" and so the name works with that! I think this one is a keeper!

Well, I am going to be playing catch up for a few posts with pictures I had taken throughout the past few months.  These old posts make me nostalgic for my dark hair!  You'll soon notice my hair is much lighter now (I am trying to get back to my natural hair color).  I still can't decide what I like better.  Time will tell, perhaps?

I am so excited about today's post! I have been wanting to do this idea for awhile now, it has just taken me quite awhile to get it all done.  When I first bought this skirt, I didn't know I would love it so much.  I quickly realized how great it is!  It feels like there are so many ways to style it.  I can still think of totally different looks for this skirt! It was tough deciding on three.  I wanted to show a wide variety of styles though.  From dressed up, ready for church or a wedding,   to something fun, a little more casual, and trendy, to something quite casual, comfy, and cute. I love pieces that are so versatile and allow me to wear many times, yet still achieve a different look and style each time.  The best part about this skirt?  It was eight dollars!

DI Swag

Outfit Details:  Skirt- Deseret Industries  Shirt- Forever 21  Heels and Watch- Target  Earrings- Nordstrom

Hello all! Interesting post comin to you today!  What can I say? There is something so thrilling about buying a THREE DOLLAR skirt!! Yes it is grandmaish.  Yes it is at least 20 years old.  But I sorta love it.  I bought it because I really like the length and the shape of the skirt.  I need to get myself a sewing machine.  I could make so many skirts, I think!  Another one of my favorite simple, summer skirts came from the DI.  I always go check out the DI, in hopes of finding something lovely like this other skirt ( not pictured.)  But I usually completely fail!  I was glad when I went the other day and found this little beaut.  I think I'll keep going. It is fun to find things that are pretty out-there and style them so they actually look half decent!
